Terrific close-up capture, Yves. She stands out beautifully on that perch against the soft background colours and detail and it makes for a lovely image.

Thanks Heather. The background append to be just at the right distance for a soft fading and the bird is just close enough for crisp details. Another team success.

Terrific shot Yves. Great depth of field and focus. I really like the angle you took this shot at with the branch pointed towards the viewer and the sparrow looking at the viewer as well.

Lovely portrait, Yves...even the catch light in the eye. However, I think it's a Song Sparrow, not white throated.
